Isabel was born in Melbourne Australia. His father is from Australia and her mother is Swiss. Her family lived in Switzerland Melbourne Jabiru, a tiny town located in the Northern Territory called Cairns and Cairns Australia. Sister Nina was also a student at an institution that was home to children of all different cultures as well as First Nations. Isabel is a resident of Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel was active in drama during the time she was in school. Later, Isabel studied acting at Queensland University of Technology's Victorian College of Arts. The actress never had auditions for parts until being asked through her agency in the year 2002. The audition was for the role of Home and Away, 1988. They felt that she was not suitable for the role, however they were pleasantly surprised and created a new role for her Tasha. In the course of three years, she was awarded the Logie Award as a new talent in television for her role. Isabel moved from the city of London in 2008 to Los Angeles in 2008. In the film Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen in 2009 was her first major performance. Since then, she has appeared in many US as well as Australian films, and has won several nominations. Recently, Isabel was a part of the an award-winning film Bosh & Rockit Ocean Boy the film which is quickly becoming an Australian classic and in the soon-to-be released horror film Lunacy. Isabel recently completed Sons of Summer, and she's currently working in the role of Marie Curie for Radiant. The aforementioned award-winning Annika Glac will be writing/directing this film. Isabel supports animal rights, as well as having worked for many environmental organizations. Isabel was a PatronAmbassador of Melbourne's Human Rights and Arts Film Festival (HRAFF) for ten years until the year 2020.
